The term “philosophy” itself is a Greek one. The great philosophers of Antiquity, above all Plato and Aristotle, composed their works in Greek. The value of this micro-program lies therefore in it giving students the chance not only to discover the works of these philosophers (in English translation) but also to come to grips with the language in which their works were written.
For graduate students, this microprogram cannot count towards your master or doctorate program. If you wish to complete this undergraduate microprogram, you must obtain permission from your program director, and it will be considered as additional to your program.
