Are you eager to learn more about who we are as human beings, not only in strict scientific terms, but also in terms of human nature in general? 

In the Faculty of Science's Biomedical Sciences program, you have many opportunities to explore both fundamental and applied biology-based sciences. The first two years provide a background in anatomy and psychology, in addition to more in-depth knowledge in basic sciences like biology and chemistry. After year two, you can choose to combine additional courses in biology and biochemistry with an array of optional courses and obtain a minor in one of many arts or social sciences programs, OR you can choose an option in the life sciences, such as Neurosciences, Cellular and Molecular Medicine, Bio-analytical Sciences, Medicinal Chemistry, and Biostatistics. Students in the Biomedical Sciences program are also eligible to participate in the co-operative education program. Upon graduation, you come away with a background suitable for admission to various health-profession programs and to further studies and research in the broad field of health related sciences. 

The admissions to this program are done on a competitive basis and higher averages are required.
